Is This Legal?

Yes! We are not obtaining actual medical records. Those are protected by HIPPA privacy laws. What we are obtaining is confirmation of service provided. So organizations are willing to provide no information. However, most will provide basic confirmation of dates of service, providers name, and sometimes what was treated. This is usually enough information for an experienced attorney or adjuster to know how to move forward with the claim. We will do nothing illegal to gain the information.
